The Personnel Insurance Department is concerned with the issuance of insurance policies directly relating to the economic benefits of personal life. Among the most important policies are:
Credit Insurance Policy:
This policy is designed to cover the cases of debt repayment failure, due to the debtor’s death or injury with permanent total disability. This policy guarantees payment of the balance of debt owed by the debtor to the creditor without claiming the offending party or the debtor’s successors of any amounts.
Education Takaful Policy
This policy guarantees the payment of school expenses for students enrolled in private schools in the event the student's parent (or guardian) discontinuing to pay these expenses due to his death or permanent total disability, at any time during the stage of elementary education until the end of the secondary stage.
Hadaf Takaful Policy:
The design of this policy takes into account to meet the needs of young people’s towards achieving their future objectives such as marriage, or financing appropriate housing, or providing the expenses of higher education. This policy includes the Takaful protection represented in the coverage of the risks of death and total permanent disability, as well as other additional coverage (as per the contributor’s desire) for personal accident, and for securing periodic income to the family. This policy is also to create a savings account for the contributor represented in the allocation of the major part of the insurance contribution for the purchase of investment units (for the contributor’s interest) from one of the good reputation Investment Funds operate in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia’s. This is made periodically and on a regular basis until the end of the period of insurance, where the contributor utilizes his savings with the proceeds of its cumulative investment during the period.
Domestic Helpers Policy:
This policy is designed to provide proper compensation for household workers category (or their successors) in cases of death or personal injury causing permanent disability. This policy guarantees also the dead body repatriation expanses in case of servant’s death or total permanent disability. The policy also covers the expenses needed for the recruitment of another servant in case of death or total disability of the original servant.
Medical Travel Assistance Policy:
This policy covers the contributor’s medial expenses during overseas travel for a period not exceeding 90 days, should the contributors accidently sustained an infection with any of the diseases covered by this policy. The policy covers the contributor’s family (spouse and sons up to 18 years of age) if they are accompanied by the contributor during travel.
Haj & Umrah Policy:
This policy is designed to cover the Cotributor (Pilgrim or Umrah Performer) in case of death or
personal injury that may result in a permanent disability due to accident that may occur during the stay of a pelgrim or an Umrah performer in Saudi Arabia territories (or within its airspace), in addition to the payment of : the contingent medical expenses due to an accident , the necessary repatriation expenses and the travel expenses of one of the family member, when necessary . Also, this policy covers the cases of passport loss during the travel of Pilgrim and /or Umra performer
